Usage:
• When you switch on the heat gun, you should plug in first. Adjusting the switch button to LOW or HIGH, you will hear a buzzing sound (the motor begins to work). The heater strip will gradually become red and will give off some smoke, for the strip surface is covered with a layer of yellow oil against rusting, and the smoke will quickly disappear. After using it for a certain period of time, if the front barrel becomes black, for it has been heated by high temperature. It is not damaged, and you can use it as usual.
• If the motor doesn’t work, you should push the switch button to OFF at once, pull out the plug and contact us.
• When you don’t use it, you should push the switch button to OFF, and place it on a flat surface with its white iron barrel upward to make it cool itself. If you place the barrel downward, the heat inside the gun will never completely cool off. Then, the temperature in the motor will rise, and the life span of the gun will get shortened. After the white iron barrel completely gets cool, you can store it.
• To help cool the heat gun, extend its life span and avoid accidents, when you don’t use it, please push the switch button from HIGH to LOW and keep it for 15 minutes, and then switch it off. Don’t forget to pull out the plug!
Tips:
The new hot air gun's heating core is covered with protection oil. In the beginning when you use it, it may produce some white smoke, and the smoke will quickly disappear. This is normal, and you should never mind it.
After using it for a certain period of time, if the front barrel becomes black, for it has been heated by high temperature. It is not damaged, and you can use it as usual.
